Irving Penn's Studio in Paris, 1950Irving Penn died today. He was 92. He was an amazing photographer whose iconic images were achieved without much fanfare. As he wrote in his book Passage, "Using simple equipment and daylight alone is for me a pleasure and a replenishment."
